The team supporting the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation at Bentley Wood High School´s First Give competition won ?1,000 for the charity!

A stunning presentation from Sumayyah Ahmed, Thinusha Aruleeswaran, Hafsah Farooq, Shivani Godhania, Asiili Ibrahim wowed the judges who presented them with the winning ?1000 cheque to pass on to the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation. The girls said they were attracted to the charity because of the work it did with local young people.

After their visit to the AWTF office, they were really impressed by how much AWTF managed to do - ?We didn?t realise that the offices were so small or that so much varied support was given to teenagers in need from food parcels to helping with further studies. This is all for children and young people who would not be receiving this help from anywhere else.?

The girls are determined to keep helping AWTF and are planning to run a stall at this years Pinking in the Park in Waterlow Park September 2016.

A passion for life
