Welcome to the team

Lindsey Wylie

Founder

Lindsey Wylie, Alexandra's mother, is the founder of the charity alongside her husband, Rob. These two are the beating heart of AWTF.

She runs the charity with passion, integrity, and love. Everyone that works alongside her benefits from her beautiful soul and gets pushed to be the best that they can be.

She undertakes the day-to-day running of the charity, project management, community fundraising, marketing, and volunteer mentor.   Originally from South Africa, she is a graduate from Cape Town University.  Lindsey was a director of the charity La Leche League for five years when Alexandra was young.

Dr Rob Wylie

Founder

Rob tends to do whatever Lindsey tells him to do. Funny, generous and incredibly smart, Rob lends his brilliant mind and business talents to the charity but he also gets involved with setting up events like carrying tables and gazebos, he also helps delivering our food and clothes parcels.

A Cambridge graduate, Rob has spent over 30 years helping innovators in the environmental area and is Chairman and Board Director of numerous companies. He has also been on the Development Board of the Ashden, one of the Sainsbury charities.

She helps Lindsey in the day-to-day working of the office as well as overseeing projects such as exhibitions, food banks, and volunteer management. Tara has also revolutionized AWTF's digital presence and is our website and email mastermind.

Chiedza Mutasa

Youth ambassador

A friend of Alexandra's since childhood, Chiedza has been with AWTF since the start.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, Chiedza is the perfect person to have as our Youth Ambassador. She takes part in many of our partnerships and helps us devise workshops and events that will attract as many members of the community as possible. She has recently taken over our social media channels bringing a huge splash of pink to our Instagram.

Her motto really exemplifies our vision:

'If it's not pink, it's not worth it.'

Frances Ourene-Harris

Frances is our resident artist.

She is a key member of the team supporting us at every event with help on the practical side and with the logistics and design.

Frances is dedicated to helping local young people and supporting families, and we are so pleased she gets to use her creativity to do so.

A vivacious character, she is passionate in all her work and drives others to work hard too.

She can often be found in the office making everyone laugh, and appears in much of our press and promotional coverage. She is bubbly, fiercely social and unbelievably clever. She is a delight who brings joy into the office whenever she arrives.
